At peak times in real life, Dublin Airport handles a departure or arrival every 60 seconds. This doesn't happen easily. Pilots must be ready for an immediate departure at the holding point, and when cleared to line up and depart, do so with no delay. All whilst an endless stream of strobes approaches the runway. These intense runway operations at Dublin are challenging and great fun for everyone, pilots and controllers alike. Keep Sunday 20th September free in your diary, fly between Dublin and your favourite airport, and enjoy the full staffing of ATC from VATéir.

Due to the misuse of manul PIREPs this function has now been removed. All flights must be recorded using our flight trackers. If a pilot suffers a PC failure and can prove how long he had been flying for then contact a staff member who can add the hours manually

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Peadar McFadden has accepted my offer to become full time CEO of our VA. Peadar has been on the staff team as our OPS Director for sometime and is very committed. I look forward to seeing what he brings to the VA as we move into the future. Congratulations Peadar.

Hi all, Virtualei will launch a new fresh website tonight. There may be a couple of minor issues that cannot be fixed until the site is live so please allow 24 hours for completion. Flight booking and operations will remain unaffected

Hi all, just to let you know that our VA recorded its first flight on the 20 May 2017. That makes us 3 years old in a couple of days. On behalf of the Owners of this VA I would like to thank you all for making our VA a great success. I hope you all continue to enjoy your membership and encourage friends to join. Keep flying :)
